Mater is an eco-conscious brand that merges high-end Scandinavian minimalism and craftsmanship with ethics. Founder / CEO Henrik Marstrand chose the name Mater, which means “mother” in Latin, as a reminder of the company’s contribution to mother nature and preserving the environment. Their commitment to sustainable process and practices is also reflected in their choice of sustainably, ethically sourced materials. We are pleased to be the source of leather for a variety of Mater designs, seen in their Mater Earth Gallery showroom concept in Copenhagen and London, with more to come in major metropolises throughout Europe. www.materdesign.com
