Kunst is the Danish word for “art”, reflected in the original designs by Inoda+Sveje in collaboration with Karimoku Furniture. They have joined forces to introduce a new chapter in design with Karimoku Kunst, merging the lyrical sense of aesthetics of the Japanese / Danish design duo Kyoko Inoda and Nils Sveje, who are based in Milan, with Karimoku’s top-of-the-line manufacturing facilities in Japan, boasting 70 years of craftsmanship techniques. The soft curves of their designs bring an unspoken emotional depth to streamlined shapes that incorporate tradition and technology.
