Tom Dixon
With DUET®, we are truly pioneers with a new type of full-grain leather we developed in colours co-created with Tom Dixon. Featuring one side in nubuck, with its exclusive, velvety-soft touch and the other side in suede, exuding an earthy elegance. Subdued hues form the foundation of the colour scheme, which includes a few accent colours finessed to fit in yet stand out, reflecting Dixon’s design universe. Dixon is an innovative British designer recognised worldwide for his work with lighting, accessories and furniture. Most notably, his sculptural sense of aesthetics and experimentation with materiality. Boasting offices in London, Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong, his work is included in the permanent collections of New York’s MoMA, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Pompidou Centre, Paris. In 2001, Dixon was awarded an OBE for his contribution to British Design. www.tomdixon.net
