PURE
The entire approach to this lovely aniline leather is very pure and organic. From the vegetable tanning process to the amazing array of colours derived from natural extracts, such as various types of trees, bark and fallen fruit. Original methods of tanning and dying which add to PURE’s appeal as an ecologically produced leather. In addition, PURE is biodegradable and compostable.
A contemporary take on a classic leather, PURE is terrific to touch with a subtle surface texture and distinctive markings unique to each hide. It’s an extremely soft leather with a high-end look.
Like all of our collections at Sørensen Leather, PURE is genuine leather. Meaning there are natural differences in grain structure and colours that vary from hide to hide, and within each individual hide. The passage of time, the usage and the influence of light will add to its character with a brilliant patina, as PURE becomes lighter over time.
In essence, PURE is everything you think of when you imagine real leather.

Care & cleaning
As a natural material, leather requires looking after. If you care for the leather in the right way, it will become even more beautiful over time. Here are a few tips:
Our leather is ready for you to use as soon as it arrives, so there is no initial need to treat it or clean it. Over time if you see the need for cleaning, use a vacuum cleaner once or twice a month with a soft brush to remove any dust. Once or twice a year for thorough cleaning, use the foam from soap flakes stirred in warm water. Apply the foam with a dry soft cloth, minimising any contact with water. Avoid bar soap, saddle soap, leather cleaners, household detergents or chemical products. Protect from direct sunlight, excessive heat and sharp objects
The care and maintenance of leather will always depend on the specific way in which it is used, the conditions of use and how often it is used.
