National Art Center, Tokyo
The National Art Center, Tokyo / NACT is one of the largest art exhibition spaces in Asia. The building was designed by Kisho Kurokawa, Co-Founder of the Metabolist Movement and author espousing the idea that architecture should embody the visible and the invisible. NACT is referred to as an “empty” museum, as it has no permanent collection, as such. However it does house some of the most iconic Danish designs on a continual basis –all made exclusively with Sorensen Leather.
Be sure to see featured pieces from Fritz Hansen, such as Arne Jaobsen’s Series 7™ chairs and Swan™ chairs crafted in our ELEGANCE / Walnut, as well as Poul Kjærholm’s PK80™ Daybeds and PK22™ chairs crafted in our CLASSIC / black.
